HOUSTON – A worker died and three injured, is the balance that left the partial collapse of the roof of a gymnasium in Friendswood High School, a city located more than 20 miles southeast of Houston.
The deadly incident was confirmed by the School District, which in a statement said it was “heartbroken” and asked for prayers for the families of the victims and for the workers themselves.
Friendswood ISD explained that the collapse occurred in a construction area inside the current boys’ gym.
“Friendswood High School will remain closed until further notice,” officials said.
