The actor of theater and television series Stephen Greif, has just died at the age of 78, on December 23, according to information communicated by his agent.

Seen recently in the 4th season of The Crownas the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Stephen Greif left his mark on British audiences as Commander Travis, in the 1970s science fiction series, Blake’s 7. A villainous character, wearing a disturbing black patch over one eye.

From Pompeii to “Coronation Street”

Coming from the theater and member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, Stephen Greif has mainly played roles on the small screen, in numerous series and television films.

A familiar face on the British small screen, Stephen Greif has starred in many series that did not cross the channel, such as the sitcom Citizen Smith, boon, Rumpole of the BaileyWhere Young, gifted and broke.
