They are looking for the case to be clarified as soon as possible, since a full year has passed and they have not received a response from them.
The mobilization was carried out from the State Government Palace, where the group of protesters began their journey. They went through the State Attorney General’s Officeby the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office Femiicides and crimes committed against women and ended the protest at the Nueva Castilla Motel, the exact place where the 18-year-old girl was located in 2022.
In an interview conducted outside the motel, located on the highway to Laredo, Mario Escobar, the young woman’s father, harshly criticized the authorities for the impunity that prevails in cases of disappearance and femicide in the state.
“The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) has the opportunity to end the corruption that exists in the Attorney General’s Office, in the state at all levels,” he said.
He also recalled that President Andrés Manuel López Obrador promised him that his daughter’s case was going to be solved. And that after 12 months, all the information he has on the case, based on his own investigations, he has already provided to the FGR.

It should be remembered that Debanhi Escobar disappeared on April 9 of 2022 after attending a party in a country house in Escobedo and 12 days later his body was found in a cistern abandoned inside the Nueva Castilla motel, near the site where she was last seen alive.
