Mexico City.- Mario Escobar and Dolores Bazaldúa, Debanhi’s parents, announced their interest in producing a documentary series on the case of their daughter’s disappearance and femicide.

This was announced in an interview for the morning program Venga la Alegría, where they did not rule out that the actresses Danna Paola or Belinda played Debanhi on the screen.

“It would be an honor if any artist played the role of our daughter, they are well-known artists,” said the victim’s father.

It should be noted that the Debanhi Escobar case is not yet closed, so the production of a series or audiovisual material could capture the development of the case as a chronicle of events.

In addition to noting that both the question of casting and the development of the series will be discussed in due course with the producers or directors of the material, although he did not specify whether someone is being contemplated or is looking for creatives.

While, regarding the case of denouncing the comedian Platanito for revictimization of his daughter, he clarified that he did not ask for money, as was rumored on social networks.

“There is a complaint, Conapred has it, marks administrative sanctions and at no time did I ask Mr. Verduzco for money,” he said.
