The two entertainers have been given the royal job of commentating on the arrival of the British royal family and their guests for the coronation ceremony of King Charles III on television.
Berlin – The jokers Joko and Klaas have to on the day of the coronation of Charles III. prove themselves as a noble reporter. They lost out on Tuesday evening in their show “Joko & Klaas against ProSieben” and got this royal job as a “punishment”.
In the hour before the actual coronation on Sunday, May 6, from 11:00 a.m., the two will comment on the arrival of the royal family and the international guests on the Sat.1 station.
Accompanying the actual ceremony, however, is left to royal experts: In the London studio, Sat.1 presenter Marlene Lufen expects Charlotte Countess of Oeynhausen, Heinrich Prince of Hanover and Ross Antony, a big fan of the royal family. Sat.1 editor-in-chief Juliane Eßling is delighted: “For the first time, Joko & Klaas can be seen on Sat.1 for an hour. They will appropriately accompany the occasion with a royal tea time from a Berlin studio.”
In “Joko & Klaas versus ProSieben” the entertainers compete against their broadcaster. If they lose, they have to take “penalties” on themselves. Among other things, the two have been pasted on a billboard as an advertising stunt – or they had to moderate the knowledge magazine “Galileo”.
If the duo wins, they can design a quarter of an hour of ProSieben broadcasting time as they wish in the “Joko and Klaas 15 minutes live” section – the two often use the time for serious social issues, but on other days they just do nonsense. dpa
