Here’s the new trailer for ‘The Flash’ and it’s crazy

As we were saying, one of the most exciting Warner Bros. announcements at CinemaCon 2023 was the new trailer for The Flash. What makes this trailer epic is that more weight is given to Michael Keaton’s Batmansomehow confirming that his appearance will not be limited to a simple cameo.

In the trailer, we can see Bruce Wayne (Keaton) giving Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) an emotional speech about how the death of his parents made him who he is. That is to say, this Batman –obviously older– will be a kind of mentor for Flashwho has decided to use her powers to prevent the loss of her parents.

But getting into the passage of space-time will have consequences for the DC universe. In the new trailer, we also get more extensive appearances from Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Michael Shannon as General Zod and Ben Affleck as the DCEU’s Batman. The film opens on June 15.

The exclusive previews of ‘Aquaman 2’ and ‘Blue Beetle’ at CinemaCon 2023

As we told you before, among the Warner Bros. announcements at CinemaCon 2023, some extended footage was shown of both Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom like Blue Beetle. These advances were not released through networks; they were convention-exclusive previews.

However, there are interesting details to take into account. In a video projected during the panel, director James Wan who “It’s an action-adventure story with a very funny bromance between Arthur and Orm. Orm was a villain the first time, but this time Arthur needs him. (via Deadline).

Arthur Curry/Aquaman now has a son, but must face Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), who literally throws a speech over “wanting to kill and destroy everything Aquaman loves”. The film opens on December 20, 2023.

Regarding what was shown by Warner Bros at CinemaCon 2023 regarding Blue Beetle, it is said that the trailer is quite similar to the advance released recently, although with special emphasis on the villain Carapax.

And in the same way, it is said that the advance focuses on how the family of Jaime (Xolo Maridueña), a guest of the suit, becomes both a motivation and a weakness for the hero. The film opens in theaters in Mexico on August 17. We leave you below the trailer released at the beginning of this April.

The other Warner Bros. announcements (Wonka, Dune and more) that were made at CinemaCon 2023

Outside of the DC universe, there were other Warner Bros announcements and trailers at CinemaCon 2023. Of course, these trailers were also convention exclusives and they will only be released to the whole world in the next few months.

One of the advances was Dune: Part IIwhere a first glimpse of Florence Pugh and Austin Butler as Princess Irulan and Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, respectively. Of the latter, it is said that his character is truly crazy. Another detail is that, unlike the first movie, this second installment is filmed 100 percent in IMAX format.

It’s already craving to see the trailer, really. The film will be released on November 3 of this year. and here we leave you the interview we had with the cast for the premiere of the first part.

After a long wait, more details finally arrived about Wonka also starring Timothée Chalamet and a trailer (which cannot be seen internationally yet, it takes me aaaaaa). The most striking thing about this advance is the appearance of Hugh Grant as an oompa-loompa, according to Deadline.

It will be an origin story in the form of a musical, and Chalamet’s character promises that he will make “the biggest chocolate shop in the world”. However, it won’t be easy as he will have to face some rather bad-tempered characters who will do everything possible to prevent him from dreaming. The film opens on December 15.

About Barbie With Margot Robbie in the starring role, there was another exclusive trailer (but detailed by different outlets) that clarifies the plot a bit more. There, the protagonist is seen meeting another Barbie very different from her who tells her you can go back to your normal life or you can know the truth about the universe”.

Ready Barbie comes to the real world and they will see that not everything is actually as utopian and rosy as it is in the world of Mattel. The film will be released on July 20 this year.

‘Beetlejuice 2’ is officially in development

This is perhaps one of Warner Bros’ surprise announcements at its CinemaCon 2023 panel. After years, rumors, and many projects that just didn’t come to fruition, Warner confirmed that Beetlejuice 2 is in development.

It must be said that it is an important revelation, since in the past there was only talk of confirmations that were more secret or plans of those involved that never materialized. Now, It is a fact that WB has the project on the agenda, as mentioned by ScreenRant.

It was learned last March that Jenna Ortega was in talks to join as the lead. This would make sense due to the success that the young actress and Tim Burton himself (creator of the original film and who would return to this installment) had with Wednesday.

Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton would be back in their roles as Lydia Deetz and Beetlejuice, but nothing has actually been officially confirmed about the cast. Of course, now that Warner has confirmed the development of this sequel, surely there will be no lack of new details soon, so we will be on the lookout to bring you all the information.
