Diego Demme may have to make up for a change in January. As his agent Marco Busiello told ‘Radio Punto Nuovo’, Napoli don’t see the need for a winter split: “The likelihood of him leaving is very slim at the moment. Napoli have confirmed to Demme that they want to keep him and have no intention of selling him, either temporarily or permanently. We remain very calm.”

A possible buyer is also currently not in sight. “As in all markets, there are so many rumours, so many situations. In reality, there is very little concrete”, Busiello continues. For Demme, however, a transfer would be the chance for more match practice. At the current table leaders in Serie A, the former Leipzig professional has only lost 20 minutes of action in the first half of the season. Most recently, Demme was associated with a return to the Bundesliga and a move to Turkey. His contract in Naples runs until 2024.
