Hours after the initiative presented by the 15 members of the ruling party, in which they formalized the impeachment of the ministers of the Supreme Court of Justice, the issue incorporated by President Alberto Fernández in the agenda of the extraordinary sessions, the two deputies of the Frente de Todos (FdT) María Rosa Martínez and Pablo Carro, of union extraction, advanced with a new text related to the management of the funds of the social work of the Judiciary.

“We present a Project requesting impeachment of the members of the Supreme Court of Justice in accordance with Art. 53 of the National Constitution for alleged crimes committed in the administration of the Obra Social del Poder Judicial”, said the Buenos Aires legislator Martínez on her social networks. .

The graphic trade unionist affirmed: “Rosatti, Rosenkrantz, Maqueda and Lorenzetti failed to fulfill their functions of control, supervision and appointment of the Obra Social del Poder Judicial; an administration plagued by irregularities and a serious deterioration of the health service for workers”.

For Carro and Martínez, “this non-compliance sustained for years had as a direct consequence the existence of an administration riddled with irregularities, the deterioration of the quality health service that the OSPJN must provide” and “the affectation of the right to health of all magistrates, officials and employees of the National Judicial Power and the Judicial Power of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, affiliated to it”.

In radio statements Carro denounced: “They did not cover the charges, it is not controlled, reports are not made. (Juan Carlos) Maqueda delegated his signature to a niece of his who has no title, nor any job specificity. There are lots of irregularities ” .

In turn, the deputy called it “insane” that the Court itself is in control of the health care of judicial workers: “There are inspections that they themselves order to be carried out, audits that reflect a demand for greater control and transparency over the management of resources that they themselves fail to comply with”.

According to Carro, the person in charge of Obra Social is Juan Carlos Maqueda, but the trial will begin against all the members of the highest court because there is no formal record in which he is appointed: “There is no paper that mentions him specifically, nor does it say from what moment until what moment, but rather there is an email that Maqueda sends to the rest of the members of the Court telling them that something must be done with the social work and where he realizes that he is in charge. But without administrative acts”.

This request for impeachment of the members of the Court, is added to the one presented today by the pro-government bloc, and other pre-existing ones that weighed on Rosenkrantz and Lorenzetti, the latter presented by the Civic Coalition.
