Chelsea FC apparently plans long-term with youngster Levi Colwill. The Blues have no plans to ditch the 19-year-old centre-back anytime soon, The Athletic reports. Colwill is currently on loan to Brighton & Hove Albion. He has made ten appearances for the southern English side this season. Despite the well-known competition in his position, he is credited with making a breakthrough at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea had invested around 180 million euros in the transfers of Marc Cucurella, Wesley Fofana and Kalidou Koulibaly in the last transfer window, in winter another man for the defense center was added with the Frenchman Benoït Badiashile for around 40 million euros. For their part, the Seagulls see an opportunity to sign Colwill on permanently. Chelsea seem to have little interest in that.
