MIAMI.- The Venezuelan authorities clarified the case of Venezuelan rapper Canserbero, who died on January 20, 2015. According to the technical-scientific expertise carried out, it was possible to demonstrate that Canserbero and his friend and producer Carlos Molnar were murdered, and the intellectual authors of the event were the brothers Natalia and Guillermo Amstica. Saab also pointed out that they acted together with officials from the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin) who helped alter the crime scene.
The prosecutor also added that he personally interviewed the accused as established by the Constitution of Venezuela between December 18 and 19, along with two directors of the Public Ministry, the two prosecutors and the head of the Conas of the Metropolitan area of Caracas.
“Natalia Amstica confessed that she murdered Carlos Molnar because he had not paid her money and killed Canserbero out of envy,” said William Saab.
The murder of Canserbero
In the confession, which was released by the Public Ministry, the Amstica brothers explain how the events occurred:
Natalia Amstica stated that she killed her partner of 10 years, Carlos Molnar, because he refused to pay her the money he had lent them to promote Canserbero’s tour in Argentina and Chile in December 2014. Likewise, the reason for ending the rapper’s life was that he had an indifferent attitude towards her.
At home, the woman prepared a tea for them and added 10 milligrams of Alpram, a drug that is prescribed in low doses to treat people with anxiety, panic attacks or high stress, with the aim of making them sleepy. Later, Natalia stabbed Molnar several times with a knife when he entered the kitchen sleepily.
Canserbero witnessed the event before collapsing in the room. That’s when Amstica stabbed him twice in the side.
After committing the homicide, he called his brother Guillermo. He arrived with officials from the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin), to whom he paid a thousand dollars each to help him stage the scene.
At that time, the theory of a homicide/suicide as a result of a fight between the two men was maintained. To make this credible, Amstica along with the officials took Tyrone’s body to the kitchen and hit his face before throwing him into the void. Likewise, Guillermo stabbed Carlos and Natalia bathed her feet in the man’s blood to simulate that Canserbero, after supposedly murdering him, walked to the kitchen and committed suicide.
Tarek William Saab reported that on December 19 he ordered prosecutors to proceed with the accusation of homicide qualified for futile motives and with treacherous co-authorship.
It was also reported that there are six detainees in the case and other fugitives with an arrest warrant.
