For several months there has been speculation about the release of the song made by Manuel Turizo and Shakira. This June 19, the woman from Barranquilla confirmed on her social networks that next Thursday June 29 will be the official premiere of the collaboration between the two artists, ‘Empty Cup’.
“We made a movie,” the singer wrote on her social media. In her post you can see a photo of Shakira with a mermaid tail and in the background of her you can see another image of Manuel Turizo carrying her in her arms. In the second part of the post you see a list of various cities and the launch times in each of them. Among these are Barranquilla, Beirut, Tokyo, Los Angeles, New York and Barcelona.
The revelation of the premiere date comes after the statements made by Shakira in her trial for alleged Tax Fraud were known. According to the recordings revealed by the newspaper El País, the Barranquillera he would have lived intermittently in Spain in 2015, so he could not be considered a tax resident.
