This year’s message from the king registered a 64.1% audience share in the total of 30 channels that broadcast the speech live, which also represents a decrease of half a point in audience share compared to the previous year.

In addition, total television consumption was 9.4 million, a decrease of almost one million (-9%) compared to the 2022 message (10.4 million).

Felipe VI’s message of 2023 began at 9:00 p.m., lasted 12 minutes and 59 seconds, and the text of the message contained 1,467 words.

Regarding the profile of the audience, the speech was followed by 65% ​​women and 62% men. By age, 65% were over 65 years old and 64.6% were between 15 and 44 years old.

Felipe VI advocates for the Constitution and urges to avoid the germ of discord
