The Digital Design & UX Next conference celebrates its premiere on June 14th and 15th in Munich. Over a day and a half, 20 lectures deal with the design of digital material. Tickets at the discounted early bird price are now available until June 24th.

In the focus of Digital Design & UX Next stands for the holistic design of good digital products. Software and other digital products not only need functional code, but also the right interface to us humans. Expertise such as UX design, product management and testing must come together in interdisciplinary teams in order to identify and use technology potential. Digital design is a profession with tools and knowledge of materials.

The of dpunkt.verlag and heise Developer The conference, organized in cooperation with MaibornWolff, is primarily aimed at product and service managers, usability & user experience professionals, digital designers, requirement engineers and product owners.

The program offers the following lectures in two tracks:

  • Are digital designers the new product owners?
  • UX in robotics – everyday work between man and machine
  • From UX novice to expert: How UX became an integrated part of product development
  • Digital Design Detectives: Which is more important – discovering or designing?
  • UX meets AI: Can digital designers still be saved with their ideas?

The opening keynote “Design in digital change” shows how important it is to think outside the box. On the second day, the keynote speech “Life lasts longer than beauty” focuses on sustainability. An interactive discussion will round off the first day.

Tickets for the conference are now available until May 24th at the early bird price of 559 euros (all prices plus 19% VAT). The half-day workshops “Our Swiss army knife for digital design – basic models as the basis of your method case”, “You don’t know your user – a playful workshop for more empathy and unerring requirements” and “Grab opportunities and overcome hurdles – ideas and strategies to digitally design your organization” cost 250 euros each. Tickets for the full-day workshop “Mission Impossible – When an insane digitization project comes to an end through methods” are available for 450 euros.
