Wall-E, Remy, Minnie, Elsa or even the inseparable trio Mickey, Donald and Goofy… From today, it is already possible to have a ton of iconic celebrities in your little paradise island of Disney Dreamlight Valley ; a title which, since its launch in its early version, brings young and old together and makes many happy, starting with the developers. It must be said that the game is a real critical and commercial success.
Before we dive into today’s big announcement, we wanted to thank you for helping to make 2022 a truly magical year. From the announcement to the launch of Early Access, your support has been vital to us and we wouldn’t be where we are today without you. And if some players could point out a small lack of content, note that this error will soon be fixed. Gameloft has just unveiled the first part of the game’s Road Map 2023. And, what we can say is that there are a lot of new things to come.
4 additional characters and multiplayer on the program
Looking at the Road Map available below, we realize that Disney Dreamlight Valley will be entitled to a gigantic update from the month of February. The latter will notably offer us to meet Mirabelthe heroine of the recent Encanto: The fantastic Madrigal family, but also Olaf.
Yes, look at the little hand sticking out of the first frame above, it’s the snowman from Frozen. Note that an event related to the 100th anniversary of the Disney brand will also be part of it.

As you can see, during April, players will also be entitled to items related to the Disneyland park, but also to an additional hero: this time it is Simba of the Lion King, just that.
Finally, we learn that other surprise characters will emerge throughout the year, starting with, we imagine, Pretty of Beauty and the Beast, but that’s not all. In addition to costumes and other surprise objects, also note that a functionality for the less expected will be part of the game, namely, a multiplayer mode.
For the moment, this multiplayer mode is mysterious to say the least, but we imagine that it will allow one or more players to come and visit our game, a bit like what the Animal Crossing saga offers with its chapter New Horizons. This latest feature is expected to arrive after summer 2023.
