The role cemented her love for Britain and she is now keen to splash out on a pad in central London – with Hyde Park high on her list.

Shania said: “My favorite thing to do in London is horseback riding in Hyde Park.

“If I could have a flat next to the stables in Hyde Park I would move in. It would be my dream because I learned to ride when I was young because I was ready to clean people’s stables.

Along with her new Saturday night TV spot, Shania landed her third UK number one album earlier this month with sixth album, Queen of Me.

She said of moving to Britain for filming: “I love being in the UK – it’s really a sister culture for me coming from Canada.

“He doesn’t seem alien in many ways. I would drink tea in Canada.

“There’s a much more relaxed sense of humor. We swear more in Canada so I slow it down a bit when I’m here! I always feel very comfortable when I’m here.

Shania joined Queen frontman Adam Lambert, 41, comedian and West End star Jason Manford, 41, and soul singer Beverley Knight, 49, on the panel.

Speaking about the role, Shania said, “I would say I’m an inspired judge – I’m inspired by talent personalities and their life stories really move me.

“I always consider how inspired I am, that’s really where I come from when I give them feedback or feedback.”
