If you’re a Disney fan, know that the Disney Lorcana card game is revealed in more detail today. Here’s what we know
Last year we could learn of the existence of Disney Lorcana, a project that was born out of a partnership between Ravensburger and Disney with the aim of releasing a tabletop card game. The objective is somewhat to offer fans of Mickey’s company a kind of Magic The Gathering with Disney sauce. In Lorcana: The First Chapterplayers will take on the role of illuminators, bringing classic Disney characters to life to battle.

We can learn from our colleagues at IGN that Disney Lorcana will be released in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France and Germany from of August 2023. For the record, the first seven cards feature Cruella (101 Dalmatians), Elsa (Snow Queen), Captain Hook (Peter Pan), Maleficent, in the form of a dragon (The Sleeping Beauty), Robin Hood and Stitch (lilo and stitch).
At launch we will be entitled to more than 200 game cards and he will be three different starter decks available, each with a list of 60 cards. Unlike other games in the genre, Starter Decks will also include a Booster Pack with 12 random cards.
