Doctor Who could release season 15 in 2025

Russell T. Daviesthe showrunner for the next seasons of Doctor Who, is excited about his return to the Time Lord’s universe, and reveals a promising production update.

In an interview with The Big Issuethe producer may have revealed that the already confirmed 15th season of the series should arrive sometime in 2025 on Disney+ streaming.

“If I sound a little hyperactive, because I recently turned in a script for our show that will air in May 2025. It’s brand new. It features things we’ve never done before. It’s such a crazy episode that I had to turn it in with extra explanations from the What’s happening! I’ve never had to do this in my entire life.”

Taking into account that the show’s 14th year will be released in 2024, the showrunner must be referring to the episodes of the following season starring Dear friend.

This also indicates that the actor of Sex Education is expected to return to the sets again as the titular protagonist very soon.

Before the new season of Doctor Who, the franchise will launch a 60th anniversary special divided into three parts, with the return of David Tennant.

There was a change in command of the creative team with the departure of Chris Chibnallwho had been in charge for the past five years.
