The security services of the wilaya of Algiers arrested 3 people, including a woman, prosecuted in two cases of assault against health personnel. Moreover, the defendants even attacked several health establishments. Note that the gang members are between 28 and 31 years old. You certainly remember the death of the nurse who was assassinated at the University Hospital of Beni Messous in Algiers last June. On her way to work, the 32-year-old was stabbed in the back, which caused her death. It should be noted that the deceased was in the company of her colleague on the day of the assassination. The latter also received serious injuries in the hand.
After this case, several voices were raised to claim the rights of this category of workers. As mentioned above, the judicial services of the wilaya of Algiers put an end to the activity of a criminal association which exercises violence against health professionals. In detail, this group carried out an attack last Saturday at El Harrach hospital.
And this, at the level of the pediatric service. Indeed, the doctors were victims of verbal and physical violence with knives. According to what the Arabic-speaking daily reports Ennaharthe victims received serious injuries.
The defendants were arrested in flagrante delicto
After receiving the call for help, the legal services immediately intervened. To this end, the defendants were arrested in flagrante delicto. This operation made it possible to seize the bladed weapons used in the attack. The main concerned were then taken to the police station. This in order to begin the investigation procedures. After the completion of the investigations, the attackers were brought before the prosecutor.
