Dolphins fall and lose the top of the AFC

MIAMI GARDENS.- Rookie Will Levis passed for a career-high 327 yards and led two scoring drives in the final four and a half minutes, and the Tennessee Titans rallied to upset Miami 28-27 on Monday night, going down to the Dolphins from the top of the AFC.

The Titans (5-8) held off Tua Tagovailoa and Miami’s explosive offense for most of the game, but still trailed by two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, thanks to critical mistakes that gave the ball to the Dolphins. (9-4) near the promised zone. Raheem Mostert ran for touchdowns of three and five yards to give Miami a 27-13 lead.

The Dolphins attempted a decisive drive with no timeouts available and reached their 45-yard line, but Harold Landry III sacked Tagovailoa to seal the Titans’ victory. Miami lost for the first time at home this season.

Miami played much of the game without its star wide receiver, Tyreek Hill, who sat out the second quarter and most of the third after injuring his ankle in the first quarter.
