Dominican-Cuban doctor launches book and highlights the privilege of living in democracy

For writers, this is very important,” said Vicente Rodríguez, visibly happy, not only for his “new literary son,” but for being a defender of the system that he said “he fully trusts and vehemently defends.”

Widely recognized for his commendable social work, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, assisting Hispanics of all nationalities in different orders and in the medical field, Dr. Rodríguez is considered among the community as “an example to follow.”

His new work is, in addition to a valuable literary cultural contribution, a narrative in simple language of his experiences in the medical and professional field, as well as functions in both the Dominican Republic and Miami, where he held relevant positions.

He left the novel work in circulation during an emotional meeting in a hotel in the city of Miamiaccompanied by his inseparable wife Marilyn and one of his children, in addition to the presence of distinguished personalities and media executives.

The launch of Dr. Rodríguez’s novel book was the best “pretext” to bring together Dominican-Cuban families of several generations who were sharing with the author, as well as members of exile.

The social and community work of Dr. Vicente Rodríguez is widely known.
