Lucas Fabián T., 28, was recaptured in the last hours in the middle of a strong police operation carried out on national route No. 14, at the height of Paraje Macaca. Together with the escapee, they arrested his 24-year-old brother who was next to him aboard a remis that was destined for the province of Corrientes. Lucas had escaped from the cell sector of the Dos Hermanas Police Station, where he was imprisoned for an act of sexual abuse.
Police sources announced that they received information that the fugitive was traveling by car and would have the intention of crossing into Corrientes. For this reason, members of the Dos Hermanas Police Station, together with the Investigations and Infantry Divisions, set up a deployment on the aforementioned artery at around 6:00 p.m., shortly after they intercepted a Peugeot 306 and proceeded to identify the driver.
In dialogue with the driver, the man stated that he was a taxi driver and that he was making a trip to the province of Corrientes, taking with him two passengers, whom at the time of identification it was established that one of them was Lucas T., who had been a fugitive from April of last year when he escaped from the cell sector of the Dos Hermanas Police Station, where he was imprisoned for an act of sexual abuse.
The agents proceeded to arrest both passengers and with strong custody they were transferred to a police unit where they remain housed at the disposal of Justice.
