The highly anticipated Dragon’s Dogma 2 is one of the big games currently in development at Capcom. The title took advantage of the end of year celebrations to give us some news.

During a speech in the columns of Famitsu, Capcom wanted to reassure fans about Dragon’s Dogma 2. Since its announcement, the game has been more than discreet, completely silent even, but it’s going well!

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is in great shape, it’s coming soon

Hideaki Itsuno, one of the heads of the project, has indeed declared that the development is going quite well and that things are moving forward, slowly but surely. The developer should also tell us more during the year, as soon as possible.

I am currently immersed in the development of Dragon’s Dogma 2, so much so that I lose track of time. Things are progressing well, so I hope I can continue this momentum so that I can share more information with you as soon as possible.

Famitsu via Gematsu

Dragon’s Dogma 2 was announced several months ago already during a livestream to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the license. The first game, released in 2012 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, was a small success and above all managed to find a loyal community. The game was a successful mix of open world RPG with particularly dynamic game mechanics.
We remember in particular the possibility of climbing on the largest creatures, such as cyclops, dragons or even chimeras and hydras, in fights which could quickly become epic, like.
As a bonus, the game offered the ability to create your own sidekicks and share them in multiplayer so that other players could play with them and gain experience. We also hope to find this functionality in Dragon’s Dogma 2but as of now, we know absolutely nothing about the game except that it should be available on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
