After paying to have the air conditioning fixed in his vehicle, it broke down again, and the garage wanted to charge him again, for which, outraged, Mr. Fausto Quezada contacted Telemundo 52 Responds.
In January, Mr. Quezada took the air conditioning in his truck to be fixed, but the pleasure did not last long.
“They charged me $1,900 and a fraction and the air conditioning only lasted two days,” said Quezada.
So he went back to the shop, hoping they would correct the problem.
“He went and complained to them and they told me that this was the case, that I had to pay again, because sometimes the repairs were not left, and I told him, no, well, it is not the first time that I have a car”!
Mr. Quezada said that he could not believe what he was hearing.
“He wanted to charge me $3,000 more,” said Quezada, who was outraged.
“I can’t lose that money, I said! How to lose that money, if it’s my effort, it’s my life. If we think about life time, they are 80, 160 hours. They cannot be lost, just like that!” said Quezada.
So, in addition to sending letters to the heads of the shop and his superiors, he called Telemundo 52 Responde, who contacted the Galpin Ford dealership, requesting that they reevaluate Mr. Quezada’s situation.
Through a statement, Galpin Ford expressed the following: “We take our customers’ concerns very seriously, and we always seek to make them 100% satisfied. When we learned of Mr. Quezada’s concerns, we went above and beyond to address them appropriately, and we are pleased that Mr. Quezada is happy with the resolution.”
Mr. Quezada and Galpin Ford finally reached an agreement.
They offered to charge him only $600, instead of charging him another $3,000 to keep his air conditioner running properly.
“It seemed like a fair price to me because I said, they are going to work 10 more hours.”
