Une trend seen in recent months in technology companies is the dismissal of a large number of workers, one that even Dropbox seems to have escaped.

The company responsible for the cloud storage service said it would lay off 16% of its workforce as part of an effort to reduce costs and due to the slowdown in the cloud storage market.

Dropbox also said that it decided to transfer some workers to Artificial Intelligence projects, which are still in an early stage.
