EA has chosen to be completely transparent with the creative process behind the upcoming Skate reboot. They have done this by showing unfinished clips to give the public a more intimate look at what goes on behind the scenes when a game is created. Since developers are known to be overly secretive, this is a new and fresh way to promote games for a giant like EA.

Recently they released a new episode of their interview series The Board Room, where the studio Full Circle discusses Skate and the phase the game is in. In the video it is revealed that it will contain some form of level system (think RPG where you can upgrade and develop your character). The developers also promise that there won’t be any lootboxes in the game – a promise that seems too good to be true considering that EA is the publisher and, as you know, are the kings of the loot boxes.

Skate has no set release date yet, but is coming to PC, Playstation 4/5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X.
