The idea is simple: our club’s skill rating allows us to compare ourselves with others based on our performance. In other words: if our club faces another with a higher ability rating, we will rise faster. And the opposite happens if someone with a lower rating gives us a win. Also, when we play in the knockout phases we will see more drastic changes. In fact, that does not mean that Clubs is an experience in which our classification is always at stake: there are also informal matches.
From here, two notes. Crossplay is totally optional, with which we can configure a setting so that we always face players from our same game platform. And, in this sense, players of eighth generation systems (Xbox One and PS4) can only play against each other.
In the specific case of Switch, there is no type of cross-play, but I do play online. The great novelty, in fact, is that for the first time the Clubs experience can be enjoyed from the Nintendo console thanks to the fact that this year it is a completely new version that works with the Frostbite engine. And be careful, it will keep all the customization options of its Xbox, PlayStation and PC counterparts.

When does the first club season start?
