Despite the weight of the years, center-forward Olivier Giroud (36 years old, 122 caps and 53 goals) made the decision to continue with the French team after the 2022 World Cup. Unsurprisingly, the AC Milan player now has the goal of playing Euro 2024 with the Blues.
“It’s in fourteen months. I don’t plan beyond that but I’m here for it. It’s the only major title I miss. I won a lot but also lost a lot with a World Cup final , one of the Euro, the finals of the Supercup, Cup or League Cup in England. But above all I know how lucky I am to have won! My greatest emotions are in the French team. The Blues are above everything. They are the red thread of my career”, underlined the tricolor international for L’Equipe this Friday.
