Elden Ring still king of rewards

Like every year, the video game industry seeks to look back on the past twelve months while awarding several awards to studios and teams of developers. This was particularly the case with the Golden Joystick but also Game Awards. The latter, considered the Video Game Oscars, took place on December 9th and crowned its game of the year. This is Elden Ring, the new game from FromSoftware. A global hit as it overtook The Last of Us Part II as a title the most awarded.

In the same way, it is the digital gaming platform Steam which has organized its own “ceremony” of awards. 11 prizes were up for grabs, with the classic Game of the Year but also categories that contrast with those usually set up: Best game you’re a sucker at, Unfailing Love or Best game on the go. Until January 3, the community and therefore the players were able to vote for their favorite titles.
