Last year, Dell took advantage of CES to present its own on-demand game offer to find a place for itself in the middle of Google Stadia, Amazon Luna or even Xbox Cloud Gaming. The Concept Nyx was unveiled with a futuristic design, a true trademark of Alienware gaming products. A year later, the concept returns, in a refined version.
Start your game in the living room and resume it instantly in the kitchen. Here’s Dell’s promise with its streaming gaming offering, Concept Nyx. Not currently marketed, the Nintendo Switch-style PC solution presents a controller concept that could be marketed by Microsoft, as the resemblance to the Xbox controller is striking!
With the same characteristic shape, the controller is equipped with additional features such as capacitive triggers, a scroll wheel or an evolving LED border. Dell pushes the resemblance with the Xbox controller to the similar allocation of the ABXY or Menu buttons. It remains to be seen whether this beautiful UFO will visit Earth one day…
