emmy, a provider of electric scooter sharing, not to be confused with e-scooters, is taking over the German business of Dutch provider felyx. Both will be under the umbrella of the parent company GoToGlobal.

felyx is leaving the German market or giving up the relevant division in order to first focus on the Benelux market. emmy sees itself as a laughing third party who can now integrate a fleet of 1,500 electric scooters into the existing operation in order to offer customers even more. Here you can rent “classic” scooters – see also the article picture.

According to emmy, the takeover will strengthen its fleet in Berlin and expand its presence in Hamburg and Munich. felyx customers have to download the emmy app and can then start a migration. You can continue to use your felyx credit when you travel with emmy in the future. You have until February 28, 2023. Until then, the old felyx app can still be used for driving. There will also be timely information and instructions for the change in the app.
