The General Directorate of Customs has announced the opening of a recruitment competition for the year 2022. Indeed, this competition concerns several sectors. In particular, general administration, translation and interpreting, IT and statistics. As well as the documentation and archives sector, housing and urban planning and public health. In this wake, it should be noted that the wilayas of assignment are as follows:

  • Alger
  • Ouargla
  • chlef
  • Laghouat
  • Bechar
  • Setif
  • Illizi
  • Tebessa
  • Tlemcen
  • Annaba

According to the press release released by the Customs Department, the registration deadline is set at 15 working days. And this, from the publication of the recruitment notice. The same document, indicated that each candidate must attach several documents to his application file before submitting it. The documents requested are as follows:

  • A handwritten request to participate in the competition.
  • A form completed by the candidate (the form can be downloaded and printed in particular via the website of the General Directorate of Customs).
  • A copy of the national identity card, valid.
  • A copy of the title or diploma attached transcripts during the course of study.
  • Any certificate justifying the duration of work performed by the candidate.
  • Any document justifying that the candidate has followed a higher education compared to the required diploma, if applicable.
  • Any document justifying work or studies carried out by the candidate, if applicable.
  • A Certificate of Residence justifying the residence of the candidate in the jurisdiction concerned by the recruitment.
  • Receipt for payment of participation fees of 200 DA per money order at CCP n°3000.50 key 52 with the mention transferred to treasury account n°597.750 opened with the Public Treasury of Algiers in the name of the revenue of the General Directorate of Customs.

Once the candidate is definitively admitted, it is necessary to complete the file by adding the following documents.

  • A copy of the document justifying the position of the candidate vis-à-vis the national service.
  • A birth certificate n°12.
  • Two (02) identity photos.
  • Two (02) medical certificates (general medicine and pneumo-phtisiology issued by a medical specialist) attesting to the candidate’s ability to hold the post applied for.
  • A family record of civil status for married applicants.
