During the holiday campaign in Epic Games Store there are always rumors, speculations and leaks about which titles are actually made available for free. And resourceful Reddit users or leakers like “billbil-kun” usually succeed in correctly predicting the upcoming gifts in the shop. Once again, the leaker’s prediction proved to be correct today, after all, he had the title on Dealabs.com Encased named as the next game in the 15-day promotion. What is Encased?
Encased is an isometric SciFi RPG, which was launched in 2019. In terms of setting, the title is set in an alternate reality during the 70’s. In it, humanity has encountered a mysterious dome in the middle of a desert that now needs to be explored. A catastrophe, the “Incident”, is the focus of the plot.
All in all, the Dark Crystal Games studio’s title can be played on platforms like Metacritic advertise with solid average ratings. During the game’s metascore at 73 out of 100 possible points lies, the user score is at 7.4 out of 10 possible points. You have until Christmas Eve at 5 p.m. to secure the title in the store. The three add-ons of the game, which are also offered in the store, are not included.
