Yesterday we revealed that Stray looks set to be released on Xbox relatively soon after being exclusive to PC and Playstation since last summer. The source was the American equivalent of PEGI, i.e. the ESRB, which posted one age assessment of the game to Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X, which pretty much confirms it’s on the way (the ESRB doesn’t do age ratings for fun).

But since then the page has disappeared and if you visit it now you will get one “404 error”-message. A reasonable guess is that either Sony (who paid to keep the game out of other formats for twelve months) and/or publisher Annapurna Interactive asked them to do so. We still believe that Stray is indeed coming to Xbox, but we probably won’t hear any news until the time exclusivity from Sony expires in July – unless PEGI or some similar organization in other markets publishes their age ratings in the same way that the ESRB did, which is very common.
