Eurovision 2023: Loreen (Sweden), big favorite?

It must be said that at Eurovision, Sweden is a real winning machine ! And this Tattoo is no exception, a playful and devilishly effective pop title whose tune immediately comes to mind. Without forgetting the scenography where the singer, literally inhabited, finds herself almost crushed between two screens which broadcast images reminiscent of a sandstorm. An oppressive atmosphere that hits the mark since bookmakers give Loreen a nearly 50% chance of winning. “My performance on stage evokes nature as a source of energy” she confided to our colleagues from 20 Minutes.

Eurovision 2023: Loreen had already won in 2012 with Euphoria

From his real name Lorine Zineb Nora Talhaoui, singer Loreen is 39 years old. Born in Stockholm, she is of Moroccan origin. The Swedes met him in the early 2000s in the local version of New star where she fails in the semi-finals. She literally exploded in 2012 with her album Heal in which figure the tube Euphoria who will represent Sweden at Eurovision 2012 with a (clear) victory ! In 2017, the singer, producer, dancer and pianist had already wanted to try her luck again, in vain. She had failed in the Swedish selections. Six years later, Loreen gets her revenge, however, admitting to our colleagues that she hesitated: “My first reaction, when I was asked to participate again, was to say no.. (…) I wanted to say: ‘I already did, you know?’ (…) But I felt like a disappointment. I thought more and announced that I might go.“
