Nuevo León.- An evangelical pastor who in 2020 abused four women inside the home where he worked was sentenced to 59 years in prison.

In a hearing held on May 4, the judge sentenced Jacobo, 51, for the crimes of sexual abuse and rape, considering that the evidence was sufficient to convict him.

The sentence was 59 years and 21 days in prison in addition to the payment of a fine of 900 UMA for the crimes committed and the repair of the damage.

Among the victims were three adult women and a minor.

According to the accusation, Jacobo arrived in Monterrey on August 20, 2020, recommended to teach classes and physical activities to the inmates of the home in Monterrey.

Two months later he quit and left town.

It was then that some young women informed the person in charge of the home that the suspect was touching them when he gave them physical activities.
