In a recent article, Business Insider cites the example of a few trainers who have already made ChatGPT lessons a profitable business. Lance Junck, for example, realized the potential of this artificial intelligence when he started using it in his work for an e-commerce company. He then launched a training course called “ChatGPT Masterclass: A Complete ChatGPT Guide for Beginners”.
A training that brings in more than 50,000 dollars
Since then, 23,000 people have signed up for the training, earning Junck $52,000. And it continues to grow, with 200 to 250 new people signing up every day. The training is currently $13.99 (thanks to a discount) and includes 7 hours of video, plus an article.
Another person contacted by Business Insider said he was able to earn $10,000, thanks to a course in which 3,500 people registered. And these are far from isolated cases. Business Insider also reached out to a representative from online course platform Udemy, who said it currently has 429 courses on ChatGPT, with 417,000 signups. And compared to April, this number of registrations is up 47%.
On the web and on platforms such as YouTube, we also see more and more articles or video content appearing explaining how to improve your requests on ChatGPT. And it should be expected that training on how to use Bard, Google’s AI, will also appear when it becomes available.
Soon, an essential skill?
Today, if you are familiar with ChatGPT or generative AI in general, you may be qualified to become a speedy engineer. In essence, this is someone who is proficient in communicating with generative AIs, and who knows how to use chatbots like ChatGPT to get the best possible results. A developer degree is not required. And the salaries can be very high, as it is currently an in-demand skill.
