In the south of Brandenburg there had been more than 100 operations by Friday evening due to the storm, and there were also brief power outages due to damaged power lines. “After 6 p.m. it became much quieter, we then only had 15 weather-related operations,” said the spokesman. The situation was similar in the other regions of the country. The north-west control center reported a total of 63 operations due to the storm, in East Brandenburg there were 75 from Friday afternoon to evening and only 16 operations during the night.
