Fan recreates Riverwood from Skyrim in Far Cry 5 and the result is great

A Skyrim fan has posted on YouTube a video of the starting city of the game, Riverwoodmeticulously created in farcry 5. The level of detail shown in this recreation of one of the most emblematic places in skyrim it’s the level of detail that players could expect from the highly anticipated Elder Scrolls 6.

Although with that title potentially still years away, the players they’ll have to make do with fan creations like this for now.

Since the release of skyrim back in 2011, it’s fan creations like this that have allowed the game to flourish all these years later. Many players are still playing the game with graphic mods that make the game look like a recent release.

Others create real-life Skyrim props to display in their homes. There are many ways fans have shown their appreciation for the Bethesda classic, and some fans have even recreated Oblivion using the Skyrim engine.

YouTuber Mojo Swoptops’ video is awesome as he uses the map editor of farcry 5 to recreate Riverwood, including down to the last detail. As the player progresses through the town, little rabbits and chickens get out of their way, while the signs sway in the wind.

Players can make their Skyrim look similar to the one in this video by using graphic mods that keep evolving as the game ages.
