A tragic traffic accident happened on Monday on the L 190 in Nenzing, in which a 31-year-old man was fatally injured.

Early Monday evening, the 31-year-old, accompanied by his 29-year-old passenger, drove on the L 190 in the direction of Feldkirch. Immediately behind them followed a 25-year-old in his car on the same route. At the same time, a 30-year-old man was driving in the opposite direction in a van.

In a curve that was separated by a blocked line, there was a collision between the van and the 31-year-old’s car. The car was thrown off the road and came to rest under an embankment in a ditch. The van got into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with the 25-year-old’s car, which was also pushed off the road. Eventually, the van overturned on its right side and blocked the roadway.
