With forcefulness and precision FC Barcelona thrashed Real Madrid 3-0 this Saturday at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, thanks in part to a strong performance from French winger Ousmane Dembélé, who scored the game’s opening goal.
Despite being involved in a wave of rumors that Dembélé will be signed by PSG, the Mosquito did not pay attention to the comments of journalists and had a game with good reviews.
Beyond the goal at minute 15 of the first half, the Frenchman contributed imbalance and arrival by the bands of Real Madrid, to be one of the fundamental pieces of the Blaugranas.
Although the win was made thanks to goals at the end of the match by the youth player Fermín López (85′) and Ferrán Torres (91′)the match was always close to parity and also had scoring chances for Real Madrid.
In fact, just five minutes after Dembélé’s goal in the first half, the Brazilian Vinícius Jr. took a penalty but his shot ended up going wide of the three sticks.
The negative note of the meeting was put by the injuries. Both aggressive tackles by both teams and ailments affected defenders Andreas Christensen (Barcelona) and Ferland Mendy (Real Madrid), as well as midfielder and new Catalan addition, Ilkay Gündogan.
After the suspension of the match against Juventus due to collective gastroenteritis in the squad and the defeat suffered 5-3 against Arsenal, FC Barcelona achieves its first victory on the American tour and his second overall after the 2-0 loss to the Japanese Vissel Kobe where Andrés Iniesta plays.
