Bruno Garcia, 46, was sentenced on appeal this Friday evening to life imprisonment, with a 22-year security sentence, for the murder of Julie Douib, his ex-partner and mother of his children, in March 2019 at Île Rousse in Corsica.

This is the same sentence as in the first instance.

“The Court sentences you by a majority of at least eight votes to life imprisonment with a 22-year security sentence”, indicated the president of the Corsica-du-Sud Assize Court of Appeal. to Bruno Garcia-Cruciani.
