An operation to search for missing persons among elements of the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) and collectives resulted in the discovery of skeletal remains and a corpse.

According to what was reported by the FGE, the first operation was carried out in the Alfredo V. Bonfil delegation of Benito Juárez (Cancún). Bone remains and a human body were found between paths and jungle areas.

Therefore, it was reported that tests will be carried out to determine the identity of the victims, as well as the reason for their death.

A second operation was also carried out in Bacalar, in the town of Maya Balam, without any indication of a body or human remains being found here.

According to the FGE, both operations had specialized technological equipment, as well as the participation of canine agents trained for these tasks.
