Pope Francis sent his blessings to Villa Elvira, within the framework of the celebrations for the 115th anniversary. The person in charge of receiving and conveying the message was Archbishop Víctor “Tucho” Fernández.
In these days, the La Plata neighborhood was and will continue to celebrate for celebrating another year of life. With many projects and ideas for the town to continue its growth, the meetings and tributes were up to date.
Days ago, Archbishop Fernández was with Pope Francisco and he took the opportunity to leave a message to the residents of La Plata. He himself arrived in the City at the mass that was held this Sunday at the Miraculous Medal.
Fernández announced: “On this Mercy Sunday, I bring you a gift for Villa Elvira, which is a blessing from Pope Francis, who prayed for you, blessed you and wrote you a message.”
“To Villa Elvira on its anniversary, my affection and blessing arrive. I ask the Lord to fill all the people with hope, spiritual strength, love and prosperity”, it can be read.
In this sense, Fernández considered: “When he gave me his blessing, Francisco expressed his appreciation for the life of the neighborhoods, where many bonds of friendship, dialogue and solidarity can be woven, which are networks capable of containing the lives of families already In turn, they allow us to work together for the common good beyond individual interests.
