MEXICO CITY (proceso.com.mx).– 14 vehicles with handmade armor, seized in various confrontations of organized crime in Tamaulipas, were destroyed.
The Attorney General’s Office of the Republic (FGR), through the Specialized Regional Control Prosecutor’s Office (FECOR), in its delegation in Tamaulipas, complied with the Destination Program for Assets and Objects of Crime, which establishes the destruction of objects that are instruments of crime.
“It is worth noting the work and coordination with the Secretary of National Defense (Sedena), who secured and made these vehicles available,” the FGR reported in a statement.
In the development of the proceedings, the presence of the Federal Public Ministry (MPF), who coordinated the identification event and carried out the proceedings, as well as authorities belonging to the Eighth Military Zone in the state, official experts and persons of the Internal Control Body of the FGR, who verified that the procedure was carried out under the terms of the applicable standard.
