FIFA 23 is available today for free to players registered with video game subscription services. It actually lands in EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which makes it playable on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series at no extra cost.
Released 29 years after the first FIFA International Soccer (1993), FIFA 23 is the 30e title of the most famous football video game franchise in the world. In a few months, the next game will no longer be called FIFA 24, but EA Sports FC. The publisher Electronic Arts formalized its divorce from the International Football Federation (FIFA) last year.
