A Electronic Arts announced in the latest financial report that ‘FIFA 23’ managed, in six months, to surpass the total sales of its predecessor – making the latest football title the most successful of the recent past from the North American publisher.
“Record-breaking services performance and increased interactivity, especially with our ‘EA Sports FIFA’ series, drove higher-than-expected net bookings in the fourth quarter, which helped us achieve a strong finish to the fiscal year.”stated EA CFO Chris Suh, according to the VGC website.
It should be remembered that ‘FIFA 23’ was the last football game released as part of the agreement between EA and FIFA, with the next game from the North American publisher to be called EA Sports FC.
