Ultra-wide screens are not very numerous on the market, and as often, it is Samsung which dominates it. The Odyssey G9 is an excellent product, but it has one important flaw: its price. Impossible to find below 1000€ for the oldest model, and even more for the more recent versions, it is clearly not within everyone’s reach.

This is where Millenium comes in with their own take on the full-width design. And what interests us the most is the price: €699.99 on Cdiscount, it’s more than a bargain, especially considering the small amount of concessions made compared to the Korean competitor.
The curved 49-inch Millénium screen looks great
How can you miss this design which still amazes so much. It’s like taking two or three screens and merging them. We end up with a completely crazy setup on our desk, with really impressive gaming possibilities. This observation is due to the slab of 49 inches with 1440p vertical resolution, enough not to see the pixels. The only downside is the 1500R screen curvature. that’s a bit weak compared to Samsung’s G9’s 1000R.
QLED technology enhances contrast for an even more advanced experience. The HDR400 mention is cool, but doesn’t add much more. On the other hand, what pleases all players is the refresh rate of 120Hz on the screen, ensuring good fluidity in games. If you are used to 60 FPS, you will see the difference.
4ms response time is not the best on the market but should suit the vast majority of players. Either way, if you’re going to play ultra-competitively, you know that’s not the kind of screen you should choose.
