Square Enix continues to unveil a little more Final Fantasy 16 slowly. This time it’s through new visuals and some gameplay footage.
For Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, we will have to wait a little longer. Sony has not yet communicated on its PlayStation 5 catalog for the second half of the year, but fans of RPGs and action can count on Final Fantasy 16 to come and warm up their summer. The PS5 exclusive recently benefited from a nice highlight during a dedicated State of Play which gave pride of place to gameplay and history. Square Enix today gives a layer by revealing new monstrous images.
The Primordials of Final Fantasy 16 in the spotlight
The summer will be placed under the sign of Final Fantasy 16. The action-RPG is already shaping up to be spectacular and PlayStation 5 players could have a good concentrate of action in their hands this June 22. The production of Square Enix therefore never misses an opportunity to showcase its finery. The seduction operation therefore continues with a new update of the official website of the site and some gameplay sequences. It is the eight Primordials, the invocations which will manifest themselves here through the prism of their receptacles called the Emissaries, which have been honored via artworks sumptuous. Joshua, the protagonist’s little brother, will be Phoenix’s brother, for example, when the charismatic Cid uses Ramuh’s lightning.
These eight emblematic creatures will benefit for the occasion from a new design which promises to be very successful. At least that was needed to create the great spectacle that promises the epic fights where these giant monsters will face each other without mercy. This is also one of the axes of Final Fantasy 16 highlighted in the series of short videos published in stride. Square Enix’s Japanese account has released new excerpts that recall the major elements of the sixteenth opus.
We therefore find large-scale combat, skills from the powers of the Primordials, the possibility of concentrating on the story thanks to accessories facilitating the experience, skill points to spend and of course that good old Talgor. The dog will also be the only ally to whom we can give orders in FF16. The other members of the ephemeral group will act on their own, with a small demonstration.
