Juarez City.- The General Directorate of Ecology will apply a fine of up to 15,000 pesos to the man who was arrested with 118 dead dogs that he had in a truck, for not having permission for the transfer, said the head of the agency, César Díaz Gutiérrez.

“Yesterday the person who was arrested on Sunday recovered his freedom because there was no crime as such, however we already applied a fine to him, and today the fine will be notified to this person who was arrested,” manifested.

The fine is between 100 and 150 UMA for not having a waste transportation permit, he said.

Which is equivalent to 10 thousand 374 to 15 thousand 561 pesos.

He also said that the owner of the crematorium where the remains of the pets were cremated has already appeared before the agency and has the documentation to operate, and other procedures had expired.

He said that another sanction of 150 to 200 UMA will be applied to the owner of the crematorium, which is from 15,561 pesos to 20,748 pesos.

“The one with the oven already had permits, the oven is at another address, which has already appeared, brought some of them and will be conditioned to process those that are expired, but the license does have it valid until 2024” , he stated.
