The alarm about the fire came in shortly after 10 o’clock on Monday morning. The emergency services are on site with a large resource. The police and ambulance are also at the scene.
– We have a fire in a row of terraced houses and the information we have is that there are seven apartments in this row. We have a fire in some of them, it is not clear how many, says Patric Nilsson, officer on duty at the rescue service South.
All residents have been evacuated and no one is said to have been injured.
Risk of spreading
The emergency services are now working to extinguish the fire and prevent the fire from spreading to other apartments.
– There is a risk of spread to additional apartments in the same area. So we work to contain the fire as best we can, says Patric Nilsson.
There is currently no forecast for when the fire will be out.
– Several hours at a guess, we will be on site the rest of the day.
